I'm the co-founder of NomadTaxHelp, a service that helps digital nomads and remote entrepreneurs build legal, low-tax setups that actually hold up to scrutiny. I started this because I went through the same maze myself: trying to work out which residency to take, how to exit cleanly, what would actually protect me, and which advisers were worth listening to. Most of what I read was either too technical, too generic, or too obviously trying to sell me something.
This blog is the resource I wish I'd had. I write about the things people actually get wrong: spending too many days in their old country, leaving a home "available" to them, running income through the wrong entity, treating a tax residency certificate like a magic shield. The goal is to give you the clearest possible read on your situation, then either help you do it yourself or work with you to set it up properly.
I'm based between Andorra, Spain, and wherever the snow is good. I'm British, 29, and I've been location-independent for the better part of a decade. Before NomadTaxHelp I spent six years at a crypto hedge fund, and I still write a separate publication on geopolitics, demographics, and decentralisation called The Curious Cat. Tax residency for nomads sits at the intersection of a lot of the things I find genuinely interesting: how individuals navigate states, how money flows across borders, and what it actually takes to live a free life in 2026.
What NTH does
NomadTaxHelp's core service is end-to-end Paraguay residency setup, paired with optional US LLC formation. Paraguay gives you legal 0% tax on foreign-source income through a 3-day setup visit, with low ongoing presence requirements.
